Sun-kissed in Yellow

I have said for so many years that black [people] look so great in yellow. Lupita has shown that black skin looks pretty great in all of the colors but there’s just something about yellow and the shades of it that just is the color and I’ve wanted to do an all yellow party for a long time…

Yellow on dark brown melanin skin

I love YELLOW!

I’ve been wanting to do a yellow background photoshoot for so LONG and I finally did it, hey y'all!

Although my favorite color is Rainbow, IF I had to choose, YELLOW would hands down be my choice.

This is the one color that I’ve always felt confident to wear. I never think of colors that compliment my complexion when shopping for clothes. When it comes to my style, its all about what I'm drawn to and it so happens to be a whole lot of yellow.

I remember for prom, when choosing colors I wanted to wear canary yellow. Unfortunately, my prom date denied my request due to another couple already planning to wear canary yellow. [Sidenote: Chile we ended up going with my date’s suggestion of "Smoke" and "Sky Blue" Sir you mean Grey and Baby Blue, any who, anyways.]

Wearing yellow allows me to stand out confidently when some people over-look me due to my complexion. Some believe yellow draws too much attention, GOOD, you gone see me tah-day!

People state darker complexions can pull off bright colors honestly I believe we can pull off all colors!

I’m going to just say this and leave it right here: The color yellow is made for black people!!

Honestly, name a duo better than yellow on melanin skin its truly a match made by the divine; it's what folks call, perfection.

Some people have even stated that Black women invented yellow lol I’ll leave this here for your enjoyment as well.

Wassup Oshun, Hey Beychella, cover me in yellow.
